This is a book more for
the family historian than for milling
enthusiasts. It is the story of the
milling families the Flemons, the
Bransoms, Rickards, Brandons and the
Dollimores and their relationship to
the Methodist faith. In spite of the
sub-title it does not limit itself to
the steam mill but includes details of a
watermill and windmills of Leighton
Buzzard. It is a very readable book but
my interest was limited by my lack of
knowledge of the area.
